What We Do
Working With an RIA
An RIA is legally bound to work in your best interest. By law, they must ensure that each investment recommendation they make is based on your best interests. Additionally, they are required to have a written code of ethics that governs their actions and fully discloses how they are compensated.
Our commitment is to provide you with personalized financial solutions that take into account all aspects of their life and offer guidance, clarity of thought, and expertise to help you gain confidence in a more secure financial future.
We believe your long-term plan should reflect what is most important to you so we can put together the best possible plan. No one knows what the future will bring, but your plan should help you stay invested in a variety of market environments. We closely monitor your plan, update you regularly on your progress, and make any changes necessary to keep pace with where you are in life.
Estate & Business Planning
Proper estate planning is essential to make sure that your assets are passed along in a way that satisfies your wishes and provides for the financial well-being of your family. Business owners should also consider strategies to protect their wealth and the value of their business. At Burnett Financial Group we will will work closely with you, your attorneys, and CPA to ensure that these important issues are carried out in the most efficient manner.
Our approach is to focus on solving needs rather than selling unneeded products. Insurance is utilized to provide financial support for survivors, provide liquidity to satisfy estate tax obligations, enable business owners to offset the economic loss caused by the death of a partner or employee, and to accumulate funds for retirement, emergencies, and other needs on a tax favored basis. It is not used for investment purposes.
